NEC Show underlines increasing UK interest in sustainable packaging solutions

Tungate were again in attendance at the annual Spring Packaging Innovations gathering in Birmingham during February. This year there was an even greater emphasis on sustainable packaging solutions for the UK market. On display were examples of Tungate’s latest innovations including  ; widely recycled high barrier paper PE, mono polymer high barrier PE laminates, and compostable offerings for both flexible packaging and shrink sleeves. Tungate’s Sales Director Gareth Partlett commented ; We are really pleased with the response to our new products this year. We showcased many of them in 2019 but the latest innovations we are introducing to the market are extremely exciting. It’s good to see that the UK market is now genuinely interested in moving these products onto the shelves. This is obviously good news for Tungate but also more importantly for the environment too !
