Tungate shortlisted at UK Packaging Awards for innovative recyclable Paper/High Barrier PE Laminate

Following successful new customer launches during 2020, Tungate have been nominated in the ‘resource efficient pack of the year’ category of the UK Packaging Awards, due to take place in London in October.

The product in question is a high barrier coated paper with one sided EVOH PE which has been approved for recyclable status by the OPRL and several major retailers.  Customers can now seriously consider switching to this paper based flexible packaging solution from traditional plastic packs without fear of processing issues or lowering shelf life.
